Poker is a card game with several variations. These variations all have betting intervals. The first player to make a bet is considered to be the active player. The next player must put his chips in the pot in an amount equal to the total contribution of the previous player. The highest hand in poker is called the high hand.
Highest possible hand
A high hand in poker is one in which all the cards in the deck have the same rank, or “pair”. The hand with the highest pair wins the pot. Pairs can be made up of the same suit or different ones. For example, a pair of jacks and tens would always win. In some poker games, the highest pair can be made up of two aces, or even a pair of fours.
